1. When and where was he born?

The 22 year old striker of Aigaleo was born on the 16th of April 1981 in Mytilini, Greece.

2. Which team did he start his career in and which teams did he join before going to Aigaleo?

At the age of 14 Agritis had his first “touch” with soccer when he joined the local team of his village, Doksa (Glory in Greek) Plagias. He stayed in Doksa for 4 years and in 1999 he joined Aigeas Plomariou, where he stayed for six months playing in National Division D. In January of 2000, Agritis made the big step and moved to Aigaleo, which was competing in National Division B at that time. For reference, Aigaleo is now one of the top teams in Division A.

3. When did he first play for the Junior National team and in which game?

On October the 6th of 2000, Aigaleo’s striker wore for the first time the official jersey of the Junior National team, in the game against Finland that took place at the National Gymnasium of Kaisariani. Our team won with a score of 3-1, while Agritis was substituted by Vakouftsis on the 60’ of the game. 

4. What is his greatest dream?

To strive with the colors of a top European team.

5. How does he feel about playing for a foreign team?

Even though fairly young, he is very down to earth and sensible. His first priority is to establish himself as a "top" player in the Greek soccer league and move onto a larger team of National Division A. From there and on, playing for a foreign team is a more distant dream for him and as he says, there has always been a particular preference in the Spanish soccer as he considers himself to be a better fit in a Spanish team.

6. What is his favorite hobby?

As a pure and authentic islander, his preferred leisure pursuit is fishing with a boat and playing beach volley, especially when on summer vacation where he gets to meet his friends and relax on the beach.
